About Green Finance

Green Finance is a no-cost, environmentally friendly, carbon-neutral finance program for cars and light commercial vehicles.

For every car that is financed through Green Finance, our program will plant enough native trees to offset that vehicle’s CO₂ emissions. The trees will go to areas of great need, such as the Murray-Darling basin, Murray River catchment area, the Mallee and a variety of other areas across Australia.

As they grow, these trees will absorb CO₂ emissions from our atmosphere and help neutralise the CO₂ being produced by our customers’ cars. We project that during the next five years we will plant enough trees to absorb more than 100,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.

The regenerated forests will reduce salinity and soil erosion problems, help restore fragile ecosystems and maintain the natural beauty of this country.

Green Finance is an initiative of Stratton Finance - and we are funding it because we believe that every Australian can and should do something more to help the environment.

All cars and light commercial vehicles financed through Green Finance are automatically enrolled – and it doesn’t cost them anything. There are no hidden fees, catches or requirements, plus other great benefits like no payout penalties, no retained interest, and no ongoing fees or charges.
